The GTA V game has been extremely popular ever since its release date in 2013. It was the first major update on the Grand Theft Auto series after the previous part’s coming out in 2008 and an immediate success due to its tight plot full of criminal adventure. Download GTA V for platforms such as Windows, Xbox, or PlayStation to enjoy the brutal atmosphere of San Andreas in this action game.

Graphics and Sound: 5/5
While maintaining the iconic style of the GTA series, this part has a lot of realism and dimensionality added to both the locations and the characters. This explains the GTA V specs, which are rather heavy (70+ GB on your drive). The story advances to an original soundtrack specially written for the game by Tangerine Dream, Oh No, and the Alchemist, which does deserve 10 out of 10 on the sound scale.
With GTA V Xbox as well as the PlayStation version, to control your character should be fairly easy and intuitive. GTA V PC generally relies on the keyboard with the traditional WASD combination for walking. However, you’ll need to grab the mouse to fire your weapon as well as for quick weapon switching. With the ability to enter the aiming mode by scrolling the mouse, it doesn’t take much time to get used to and feels very natural.
The GTA V action-adventure game uses two alternative perspectives, third-person and first-person. There is a set of linear missions that are used to progress the plot. However, there’s nothing to prevent the player from wandering around San Andreas freely outside of those as the world is open. Some missions will only require one of the three characters, while you’ll need to use two or three to complete others. Players can switch between characters freely when not on a mission.
Each character has eight skills that can be developed, including seven common ones and one that’s unique to the respective person. Some missions involve accomplices who are controlled by artificial intelligence.
As the characters are essentially a gang of criminals, there’s a lot of fighting involved in GTA V gameplay. This includes melee fights as well as the use of explosives and weapons, in particular firearms. Besides that, the player has a smartphone for communication and to access the in-game Internet, where they can buy property such as garages and houses. Recreational activities such as scuba diving are also provided for.
Lasting Appeal: 5/5
GTA V gameplay makes it highly worthy of replaying as there are numerous long and tricky missions that will take you hours. Apart from those, additional quests can be accessed using the player’s smartphone, and the open world offers unlimited opportunities to those who like to discover and re-discover the world of Sand Andreas.
Finally, there’s GTA Online as part of the game now, with lots of additional contents brought about by GTA V updates.
